The family of the black girl who beat a schoolmate to near death in Missouri say she’s the real victim, was “merely defending herself” against bullying and is raising money for her legal defense.

Yes, really.

Video footage showed the savage beating of a student from Hazelwood East High School, which left Kaylee Gain fighting for her life with a skull fracture, brain bleeding, and damage to her frontal lobe.

But according to Maurnice Declue’s family, who started a Change.org petition, the clip, where the assailant repeatedly slams the victim’s head against the concrete ground, actually shows Declue “defending herself from harassment and bullying”.

The petition claims the 15-year-old “had never been in trouble” and that “her work as a scholar was tainted by the bullying she had to endure at school”.

The family is urging Chief Juvenile Officer Rick Gaines of the 21st Circuit Court “not to charge Maurnice as an adult” because she was “merely defending herself under intense and flight vs fight circumstances”.

They also started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money asking the public for $150,000, but it was rightly shut down within hours.

Hazelwood East High School is made up of 96.7% black, and 1.4% white students, but apparently Gain was the real bully.

As we previously highlighted, the school in question has a history of anti-white racism cases and violent confrontations and was awarded the North County Incorporated (NCI) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Award in 2022.

Meanwhile, the GoFundMe campaign for the real victim has now surpassed $380,000 dollars in donations.
