Hello everyone,

We’d like to share the new features in this update, along with an honest update on the issues players have been experiencing and the work we’re doing to address them.

What’s new

Your sister can now show her emotions through her facial expressions during conversations. This is something we’ve wanted to bring to the game for a long time, and we plan to add a wider range of emotional expressions in future updates.

AI issues and ongoing improvements

We know that many players have been experiencing errors, slow responses, and other problems. We sincerely apologize for the frustration these have caused.

We’ve also received feedback that your sister’s replies are too long or that her way of speaking feels unnatural. These issues have become more noticeable while we’re primarily using an OpenAI model that was originally intended as a fallback.

You can find an overview of our usual AI service setup on our AI information page[easyfoxgames.com]. Under the current circumstances, we’re relying more heavily on the fallback models. Following the sudden increase in players, Gemini, our original primary model, has been frequently returning usage-limit errors. We contacted Google Cloud about raising our usage tier, but were informed that a manual increase was not available. We need to build up usage to meet the upgrade requirements, yet the current limits are preventing us from doing so. This has made the situation difficult to resolve. Restoring reliable access to Gemini is our highest priority. At the same time, we’re working to improve the conversation quality of the OpenAI model we’re currently using.

The main player-facing issues we’re addressing are:

• Replies that are excessively long.

• Dialogue that feels too artificial and breaks immersion.

• Commands being carried out incorrectly, such as turning right when asked to turn left.

Your sister making mistakes as she learns to drive is part of the game, so those mistakes won’t disappear entirely. However, we’re working to reduce excessive or frustrating repetitions.

Our technical work also includes:

• Making Gemini reliably available again.

• Introducing local AI models as a supplementary option for players with sufficiently capable GPUs.

• Testing alternative AI models for smoother gameplay in Russia.

Keeping the demo running

Over the past month, the number of demo players has grown more than twentyfold. Thank you so much for giving our game far more attention than we ever expected.

This growth has also increased our operating costs considerably.

We are currently spending over $1,000 per day on AI services for the demo.

For the paid release, we plan to account for expected AI usage in the game’s price. Players will not be charged separately for their individual AI token usage after purchasing the game.

This isn’t because each player is particularly expensive to support. The total cost has increased because so many people are playing, and we have taken out a bank loan to help keep the demo running.

We want to continue operating the demo and would love for more people to enjoy it. However, we are a small team of four, and financial pressure may mean we have to close the demo earlier than expected before the full release. We have not made that decision at this time.

Please share your feedback

If you have feedback about your sister’s dialogue or way of speaking, please leave it in our Discord’s feedback channel. Examples of awkward lines and suggestions for more natural expressions are especially helpful.

We want her to feel like a believable little sister in each language and culture.

Thank you, as always, for your support and patience. We’ll keep working to give you a better experience.
