After not seeming to have a clear go-to-market strategy for their creativity apps over the last 15 years…
Apple are looking for a manager to lead a team in Poland that focuses on the engagement, acquisition, and retention of Apple Creator Studio subscribers.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing ‘multi-year forward thinking growth plans and marketing campaigns in priority regions and customer segments’
- Designing ‘extended offers to drive both new customer acquisition and win back former customers’
- Identifying ‘creative and novel ways of structuring incentives and business models’
These plans will be put into practice by Apple teams in multiple ‘geos’ (such as EMEIA, Americas, and APAC).

Instead of Apple’s ‘put out software, don’t show that you want people to try it’ policy since 2011, it looks like they are reverting to what they did in the 200os.
This team (amongst others) will develop marketing campaigns. Will consider specific offers to get new subscribers and attract former users. Will consider what will support the wider creator app ecosystem through Apple incentives and third-party business models.
